Engagement rings…a poll…?

Here\’s a question someone asked about art deco engagement rings:
My fiance’ and I are very different in terms of our taste in ….everything. With that I bought her an art deco style ring with black diamonds and normal diamonds. She loves it and everyone we’ve showed it to just thinks it’s great that it’s not the normal solitaire.

Honestly I find the “typical” engagement rings as boring and vanilla. But again…it’s just me.

So I ask brides to be, what kind of ring did you get? Why do you like that style and if you didn’t pick it, would you have?
